The dragon gaming genre continues to captivate Android users in the US. In the second quarter of 2024, five leading dragon-themed games showcased varying performance metrics, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Dragon City: Mobile Adventure saw a mid-quarter surge in downloads, peaking at 869K in early June, while its weekly active users (WAUs) fluctuated, eventually dipping to 10.3M by the quarter's end. Revenue for the game demonstrated a steady increase, reaching $127K in the final week of June.

Frost & Flame: King of Avalon, despite its modest download numbers, which hovered around the low thousands, managed to generate a consistent revenue stream, ending the quarter at $107K. The game's WAUs saw a drop in May but recovered to 48K in early June.

Dragon Storm Fantasy experienced a significant revenue jump in June, rocketing to $83K. Downloads remained relatively low throughout the quarter, but the game's WAUs more than doubled, reaching 226K in the final week.

Call of Dragons showed a revenue peak of $153K in mid-May, but this figure tapered off to $85K by the end of June. The game's downloads and WAUs presented a consistent pattern, with downloads averaging around 40K and WAUs ending at 562K.

Lastly, Merge Dragons! displayed steady revenue growth, ending the quarter at $46K. Downloads spiked to 50K in late April, while WAUs saw a high of 280K at the same time, before settling to 218K by June's close.
